Is Dr. Phil Secretly a Large Bald Woman?
Dr. Phil, is our larger than life shrink, with a daily show on TV. He has numerous degrees and does not mind telling his audience that, practically every other show. His favorite saying is that this is not his first rodeo.
Knowing full well, that this is a show designed to give examples of people in need, a way out for these people and therefore act as an example to others out there in TV land, with the same problems. What I take issue with is his pro-woman, anti-man stance. Rarely will Dr.Phil side with a man in analyzing difficulties in a relationship. Always the man’s fault, never the poor woman.
In his recent ongoing shows on Stop the Violence, the violence, could be anything from outright beating, pushing, grabbing, throwing, or verbal abuse. According to Dr. Phil, this is always the man’s fault and up to him to fix the problem and himself. The woman is the poor abused, helpless female. They could never be the instigator, never be the abuser, never be the kingpin of the problem.
Of course, this is a woman’s show, a woman audience, and his staff is primarily female. Dr. Phil is not a stupid man, so I would assume he has been around the block and witnessed that females are not as helpless as he may wish to portray to his viewers, but if he starts to back up the man, he knows his audience will dwindle, ratings go down.
Dr. Phil states, that when a man abuses a woman in any way, verbally, striking, pushing, even in self defense, it is ASSAULT . He needs help, deep therapy. If a woman beats on a man, is verbally abusive, threatening, or simply egging him on to make him angry, this is a RELATIONSHIP ISSUE. My readers out there, know that this is simply balderdash. Assault is Assault, no matter which gender does it. I have known women, that could take Dr. Phil out with one punch, and a tongue that could kill fresh roses. I have seen the look on the faces of men on Dr. Phil’s show cowering in disbelief, when he admonished them for letting his poor helpless wife degrade him, insult him, hit him and then have the audacity to push her away. These episodes are a complete one-sided lie.
Yes, the majority of physical assaults in the home are perpetrated by the man, but Dr. Phil ignores the fact that the woman by psychological means, can be the major player in turning a good marriage into a bad one. If Dr. Phil will not admit this, then he is not truthful to his audience.
I guess we need to have balance here. A female shrink with her own show to back up the male. All males out there feeling this injustice and all females who are tired of being put in this box by Dr. Phil, write in to him. Let him know how you feel, how the real world is.
